About the position

The Market General Manager at KFC is responsible for overseeing multiple restaurant locations, ensuring operational excellence, and fostering a positive work culture. This role requires proactive leadership, effective communication, and a commitment to maintaining high standards in training, compliance, and performance management across the market.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the training and development in the market.
  • Recruit and hire management along with 'Bench Management'.
  • Manage P&L and assets, including Sales, Labor, F&P, and OMC management.
  • Build a FUN recognition culture that models the corporate mission and culture.
  • Inspect restaurants weekly to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Build strong teams in the restaurant and market to deliver the 'Promise' to every guest.
  • Engage in clear, consistent communications with field leadership and restaurant staff daily.
  • Demonstrate integrity and respect for individual employees, showing appreciation for their efforts.
  • Develop personal recognition to present to top performers in the market.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of Multi-Unit experience in the QSR field.
  • 5 years of restaurant/retail management experience.
  • Self-motivated and hungry for success.
  • Demonstrated strong leadership skills and performance.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong supervisory and organizational skills.
  • Ability to interact easily with diverse employees.
  • Proficient in using a PC and MS Office Suite.

Nice-to-haves

  • Ability to travel occasionally and willingness to relocate is a plus.
