About the position

The Market Intelligence Associate is a remote role focused on providing valuable insights and data regarding the healthcare payer, provider, and life sciences markets. This position involves conducting competitive research, analyzing market trends, and supporting product positioning against competitors. The associate will collaborate with internal teams to develop strategic programs and effective sales tools, ultimately enhancing the competitiveness of the company's solution portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and maintenance of a formalized competitive intelligence program.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to devise and evaluate methods for collecting competitive data.
  • Independently manage projects and utilize data analysis techniques to gather primary and secondary research.
  • Organize data and information to assess issues, evaluate options, and compile insights into actionable work products.
  • Collaborate on communication plans to share key insights with internal stakeholders.
  • Work closely with product marketing to develop effective competitive messages for marketing campaigns.
  • Build relationships and communicate effectively at all levels within the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Math, Market Research, Business or related field.
  • 1-3 years of proven market and competitive intelligence research experience.
  • Knowledge of data collection methods such as polls, focus groups, and surveys.
  • Technical competencies in search engines, web analytics, and business research tools.
  • Knowledge of statistical software, databases, and MS Office.
  • Working knowledge of data warehousing, modeling, and mining.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with healthcare payer and provider markets.
  • Familiarity with life sciences market research.
