About the position

The Territory Brand Market Manager will be responsible for establishing and building the presence of a global Irish Whiskey Liqueur brand in the market. This role involves executing sales, marketing, and promotional strategies to drive brand awareness and revenue growth. The ideal candidate will leverage their experience in the beverage industry to build strong relationships, identify new business opportunities, and implement strategic initiatives that deliver results.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough market research, including the analysis of competitor activities, to identify potential opportunities and areas for growth in the priority marketplace
  • Develop and execute a brand sales/marketing/merchandising strategic plan to achieve the company's revenue targets and market share objectives
  • Identify and prospect new accounts including bars, restaurants, liquor stores, and related outlets to develop new business opportunities with customers, distributors, and retailers
  • Establish strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders and maintain a regular weekly schedule of account appointments, including sales calls and distributor meetings
  • Plan, lead, and oversee meaningful and impactful consumer interaction that drives local market buzz, including sampling programs, experiential marketing activations, and press events
  • Regularly attend selected events to oversee, assist, and evaluate the quality of the promotion
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within target accounts
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns
  • Monitor and submit weekly reports on sales performance, market trends, promotional events, and other account activities
  • Utilize data and insights to make informed decisions and adjustments to the sales strategy
  • Report to internal stakeholders on topics including, but not limited to, brand performance, market trends, competitive activity, and special projects/events
  • Prepare and present periodic sales reports to Director of Sales

Requirements

  • 3+ years of beverage alcohol sales experience with a proven track record of success
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute sales strategies that drive revenue growth
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills, with an ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information to a wide variety of audiences
  • Ensure all sales efforts comply with state law
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Valid driver's license in good standing with access to reliable transportation, with travel up to 30% or more
  • Ability to work occasional weekends and evenings, as needed
  • Must be at least 21 to apply
