About the position

The Market Manager / Brand Ambassador will be responsible for establishing and building the presence of a global Irish Whiskey Liqueur brand through effective sales, marketing, and promotional strategies. This role requires a passionate individual with experience in the beverage industry to develop strong relationships, identify new business opportunities, and implement strategic initiatives to achieve revenue targets and market share objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential opportunities and areas for growth.
  • Develop and execute a brand sales/marketing/merchandising strategic plan to achieve revenue targets.
  • Identify and prospect new accounts including bars, restaurants, and liquor stores.
  • Establish strong relationships with key customers and maintain a regular schedule of account appointments.
  • Plan and oversee consumer interaction events to drive local market buzz.
  • Attend selected events to oversee and evaluate the quality of promotions.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers within target accounts.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
  • Monitor and submit weekly reports on sales performance and market trends.
  • Utilize data and insights to make informed decisions on sales strategy.
  • Report on brand performance, market trends, and competitive activity to internal stakeholders.
  • Prepare and present periodic sales reports to the Director of Sales.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of beverage alcohol sales experience with a proven track record of success.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute sales strategies that drive revenue growth.
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Valid driver's license in good standing with access to reliable transportation.

  • Experience in the spirits industry.
  • Knowledge of state laws regarding alcohol sales.
