About the position

The Spokane/Eastern WA Market Manager for Heaven Hill Brands (HHB) is responsible for orchestrating and executing strategic brand initiatives with distributors and retail accounts in the Spokane and Eastern WA markets. This remote position focuses on driving awareness, distribution, and revenue through local sales and promotion efforts, while also evaluating and reporting on market conditions that impact HHB's business.

Responsibilities

  • Manage sales planning and priorities at the distributor level to meet HHB objectives.
  • Communicate and reinforce HHB brand objectives as the primary supplier representative in the state.
  • Provide distributor sales teams with the necessary tools and knowledge to execute HHB brand strategies.
  • Drive and reinforce HHB's sales, distribution, and placement standards during training events and retail calls.
  • Measure, report, and review program results with distributor managers and the HHB Regional Manager.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key retail accounts, both on and off premise.
  • Cultivate relationships with key personnel within distributors at all levels.
  • Manage territory strategically for maximum coverage and timely contacts with key customers.
  • Ensure compliance with national account mandates and opportunities from HHB National Account Teams.
  • Submit monthly market reports to the Regional Manager.
  • Engage in continuous learning and development through internal resources and self-study.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of five years of work-related experience in the beverage alcohol industry.
  • Strong analytical skills for data gathering and presentation.
  • Knowledge of sales and marketing principles and methods.
  • Good managerial and effective presentation skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
