About the position

The Market Manager role at Firestone Walker Brewing Company is focused on increasing sales of their award-winning beers across key On and Off-Premise accounts. This position involves developing new distribution channels, maintaining relationships with existing accounts, and executing promotional events to enhance brand awareness. The Market Manager will work closely with the distributor network and is responsible for achieving sales goals and managing administrative tasks related to the territory.

Responsibilities

• Increase sales of Firestone Walker's beer portfolio in assigned territory.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key On and Off-Premise accounts.
• Secure new distribution in existing and new accounts.
• Execute weekly promotions and special events to generate brand awareness.
• Complete necessary administrative reporting and communications in a timely manner.
• Travel to company meetings and participate in market blitzes.
• Maintain sales goals and personal budgets for the territory.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and prior experience in a sales position; beer sales experience preferred.
• Cicerone or other beer certification strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of Firestone Walker beers and the craft beer community.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent persuasion and active listening skills.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Social perceptiveness and decision-making skills.
• Negotiation skills and ability to reconcile differences.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with CRM programs such as VIP Karma or Lilypad.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
