About the position

The Market Manager at Manpower is a leadership role focused on driving business results through effective team management and strategic market engagement. This position involves overseeing a team of sellers and recruiters, managing a profit and loss (P&L) statement, and developing strategies to capitalize on market opportunities. The Market Manager is expected to inspire their team, enhance client relationships, and position themselves as a thought leader in the staffing industry.

Responsibilities

• Inspire and lead a team of sellers and recruiters to grow the Manpower business in designated markets.
• Add staff and market geography as you build your book of clients and associates.
• Leverage thought leadership to position as a market and industry leader.
• Understand market and industry trends and translate them into clear strategy and business plans.
• Manage a P&L while driving year-over-year growth in revenue and profit margin.
• Operationalize business plans into clear direction and expectations for the team.
• Develop strategies and tactics for directing sales and recruiting activities.
• Oversee execution with hands-on coaching of direct reports and engage with clients and consultants.

Requirements

• 2+ years demonstrated managerial and operational experience.
• 2+ years of sales experience in a service industry.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Nice-to-haves

• In-depth knowledge or expertise in the staffing industry or full life-cycle recruitment.
• P&L ownership experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
