About the position

The Market Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a storage center within a designated territory. This role involves managing associates, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. The manager will lead a team, handle operational excellence, and ensure the efficient use of corporate assets while fostering a culture aligned with the company's core values.

Responsibilities

  • Direct day-to-day operations of storage centers and associates.
  • Recruit, interview, hire, train, and retain top talent.
  • Provide daily support and coaching for associates.
  • Manage customer experience to meet or exceed CSAT and DSAT goals.
  • Ensure compliance with DOT and OSHA regulations.
  • Manage corporate assets and daily routing for associates.
  • Conduct regular pre-shift meetings and maintain communication with team members.
  • Coordinate repairs and ensure timely completion of driver checklists and logs.
  • Participate in quarterly self-audits and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of prior management experience.
  • Ability to obtain CDL Class B License or higher preferred.
  • Must maintain a current/valid driver license.
  • Must be able to obtain PODS forklift certification.
  • Possession of a valid DOT medical card preferred.
  • Mechanical ability to identify problems with equipment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in logistics or transportation management.
  • Knowledge of OSHA and DOT compliance standards.
