About the position
As a Market Quality Engineer at Honda, you will be responsible for analyzing market complaints related to manufacturing issues and promoting the voice of the customer to enhance vehicle quality. This role involves conducting warranty claim analyses, investigating factory-related issues, and generating technical reports to communicate findings effectively. You will work closely with various manufacturing departments to ensure quality improvements and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Conduct analysis of warranty claims and customer complaints, utilizing data insights for evaluation and root cause analysis.
- Investigate and propose countermeasures for factory-related issues impacting product quality and customer satisfaction.
- Generate technical reports and problem summaries to share findings at plant and department meetings.
- Support yard audits by scheduling, identifying, and recording problem details, and participating in consensus meetings.
Requirements
- 0-6 years of relevant work experience depending on education level.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent relevant work experience.
- Strong communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.
- Mechanical aptitude for removing/installing automotive components.
- Excellent computer skills, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint, and reporting capabilities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with manufacturing departments.
