About the position

The Market Research Analyst is responsible for supporting the Market Research Department. These could include, but not limited to such areas as: CRM strategies, human insights and customer loyalty. The role involves developing and evaluating CRM strategies to maximize revenue and lifetime value from MoneyGram customers, performing and directing customer level analyses of data related to revenue performance, customer behavior patterns and trends, and using data to develop direct marketing and product strategies designed to increase revenue from existing and future customers. The analyst will act as a consumer expert and advocate to all levels of leadership for enabling consumer-centric decision making, develop strategically targeted data-driven customer level communications, and manage structured loyalty program development and execution. The position also requires leading coordination and assisting with execution of targeted strategic 1-to-1 level customer communications across direct to consumer channels including e-mails, SMS, digital and physical mail to increase loyalty and revenue from MoneyGram customers.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and evaluates CRM strategies to maximize revenue and lifetime value from MG customers.
  • Performs and directs customer level analyses of data related to revenue performance, customer behavior patterns and trends.
  • Uses data in the development of direct marketing and/or product strategies designed to increase revenue from existing and future customers.
  • Acts as a consumer expert/advocate to all levels of leadership for enabling consumer-centric decision making.
  • Develops/consults on short-term and long-range brand and consumer strategies by integrating company's transactional data insights and market and competitive data/insights.
  • Develops strategically targeted data-driven customer level communications.
  • Manages structured loyalty program development and execution.
  • Leads coordination and assists with execution of targeted strategic 1-to-1 level customer communications across direct to consumer channels.
  • Conducts phone and/or face to face meetings to present findings to senior audience.
  • Analyzes data and provides strategic recommendations from data findings to direct business decisions.
  • Shares learnings and best practices.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Marketing or Market Research qualification/formal training if not included as part of the degree/other educational awards obtained.
  • 7 years of Market Research experience, preferably in a global environment.
  • Experienced in the development, execution and measurement of marketing programs and campaigns with prior experience in direct marketing and loyalty programs.
  • Data analysis, interpretation and presentation of business-focused recommendations.
  • Familiar with checking financial metrics, data tables, cross tabulating etc.
  • Strong organizational skills - project planning, relationship management and inter-personal skills.
  • Experience managing deadlines and handling multiple priorities simultaneously with some supervision.
  • Knowledge of MS office, with Intermediate level of Excel, advanced PowerPoint skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a culturally diverse environment.
