About the position

The Market Research Analyst position at APLUSA involves supporting ongoing projects by ensuring the quality of research materials, implementing data quality checks, interpreting data, and drafting reports. This role is integral to the quantitative research team and requires collaboration with various study leaders, providing a flexible remote work environment while engaging in challenging tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality assurance on research materials.
• Implement data quality checks.
• Interpret data and formulate analyses.
• Draft reports based on research findings.
• Review and verify the content and quality of questionnaires or interview guides.
• Verify online surveys for logic and overall flow.
• Prepare analyses following an established analysis plan.
• Apply standard analytical approaches to explicate collected data.
• Coordinate fieldwork in conjunction with the Fieldwork Department.
• Collaborate in creating visually stimulating actionable reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, marketing research, data science, or a relevant discipline.
• 2 - 3 years of professional experience in market research or a related field.
• Working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of Power BI is appreciated.
• Experience with advanced analytical approaches, such as regression and correlation.
• Strong desk research skills, including building queries for online research.
• Very good communication and analytical skills.
• Flawless attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Skilled multi-tasker with the ability to manage multiple projects.
• Experience with data visualization for business reporting.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with advanced analytical approaches such as regression and correlation.
• Knowledge of Power BI.
