About the position

AgWest Farm Credit is seeking a Market Research Analyst to join their Learning and Development department in Spokane, Washington. This full-time position is responsible for conducting comprehensive research on employee and customer experiences, as well as market trends. The analyst will gather and analyze data, prepare detailed reports, and provide actionable insights to support strategic decision-making across various departments. The role offers a hybrid work schedule and a one-time home office stipend after the initial training period.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and conduct research to assess employee experience and organizational culture.
  • Conduct research to understand customers' experience and preferences.
  • Collect data and analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and financial services industry developments.
  • Engage and collaborate with stakeholders to define objectives and recommend research methodologies.
  • Collaborate in building the annual Research plan.
  • Lead continuous improvement of research systems, processes, and technologies.
  • Serve as administrator of customer/employee engagement tool and research platforms.
  • Identify, organize, and manage data for easy access and reporting.
  • Clearly communicate information through graphics, written reports, and presentations.
  • Analyze quantitative and qualitative data, identifying key patterns and trends.
  • Transform complex data sets into visually appealing graphical representations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, psychology, statistics or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 2-4 years of experience in research, data analysis, or a related field.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and quality.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Effective interpersonal skills with proven ability to work with customers and coworkers.
  • Organizational skills with proven success managing multiple projects.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with data collection, survey design, and fundamental statistical analysis.
  • Knowledge of data visualization technologies.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree in business, marketing, psychology, statistics or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years experience in market research, learning and development, or customer/employee engagement.
  • Extensive knowledge of qualitative research methods.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive completion of multiple initiatives effectively.
  • Solid understanding of customer and employee engagement.
  • Expertise with survey and insight technologies such as Qualtrics, Survey Monkey, SPSS, SAS, R.
  • Significant experience with data visualization tools such as PowerBI or Tableau.
