About the position

The Market Research Associate role within the Financial Institutions Business & Relationship Management (BRM) team at Fitch Ratings is designed to support the origination of new Insurance rating mandates and manage existing relationships with issuers and market participants. This position offers high visibility and collaboration opportunities with senior management and global team members, focusing on research, marketing, and presentation skills development.

Responsibilities

  • Research and validate new business opportunities using actionable market data from multiple sources.
  • Maintain and update data in the Salesforce CRM system.
  • Prepare commercial agreements for new and existing issuers.
  • Contact external stakeholders, organize meetings, and prepare appropriate background information as required.
  • Develop impactful presentations and marketing materials in collaboration with the marketing team.

Requirements

  • Relevant university degree in business, finance, economics, data analytics, or a related field.
  • Excellent Excel/data analytic skills including lookups, index, pivot tables, macros, and formulas.
  • Strong PowerPoint presentation skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Aptitude to learn new data systems and incorporate them into research.
