Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify Macro Retail industry trends, market size, and growth opportunities in relevant Tech categories.
  • Analyze and interpret data related to market conditions, customer preferences, and competitive offerings.
  • Monitor and report on key market indicators, including Clients's market share.
  • Assess competitor strategies, products, and market positioning.
  • Identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats to inform strategic planning.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging trends to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Analyze customer demographics and identify areas to grow Clients share.
  • Develop customer personas using Checkout data to enhance marketing and product development strategies.
  • Gather, organize, and analyze data from various sources, including analyst reports, dashboards, databases and webinars.
  • Prepare detailed reports and keynote presentations summarizing research findings, insights, and recommendations for key stakeholders.
  • Utilize keynote or data visualization tools such as Tableau to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Provide actionable recommendations based on research findings to support business strategy development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement strategic initiatives and monitor their impact.
  • Stay abreast of industry developments and emerging technologies to anticipate market shifts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or related field (Master's degree is a plus).
  • Proven experience as a Market Research Analyst or in a similar role.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in statistical analysis tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for creating comprehensive reports and presenting findings.
  • Expert in MS Excel, proficiency in using Tableau, and a basic understanding of databases.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
