About the position

The Market Research & Financial Analyst position is a hybrid role focused on conducting market research and complex financial analysis to support IT infrastructure and enterprise solicitations. The analyst will be responsible for identifying market trends, developing pricing models, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance financial decision-making processes. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills to evaluate financial health and negotiate competitive pricing strategies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market research related to IT services and pricing models.
• Perform quantitative and qualitative market research to identify trends and opportunities.
• Analyze complex data to improve financial models and identify negotiation areas.
• Assist in developing competitive pricing models based on usage and consumption data.
• Coordinate with finance and data management teams to create automated reports.
• Conduct return on investment calculations and financial requirements development for solicitations.
• Collaborate with teams to develop scenarios for financial evaluation and supplier selection.
• Evaluate the financial health of suppliers through analysis of accounting statements and credit reports.
• Create reports and presentations to communicate financial findings to stakeholders.
• Assist in strategic planning for solicitations and negotiations.

Requirements

• Significant experience in complex data analysis and financial modeling (6+ years).
• Experience in financial evaluations and total cost of ownership calculations (6+ years).
• Ability to develop effective PowerPoint presentations summarizing financial findings (6+ years).
• Bachelor's degree in business, information systems, finance, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written, to interact with suppliers and stakeholders (6+ years).
