About the position

The Market Research Lead Analyst at Citi is a strategic role within the Research and Insights team, focusing on driving insights from primary research to support the Credit Card business. This position is responsible for designing and leading critical research initiatives that enhance customer experience and inform business decisions. The analyst will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure that customer insights are at the forefront of all initiatives, ultimately contributing to the growth and success of Citi's offerings in North America.

Responsibilities

  • Conceptualize, lead and manage key consumer insights projects across multiple lines of business.
  • Act as the research and insights subject matter expert, articulating a deep understanding of various research methodologies.
  • Translate insights into clear, actionable recommendations that impact business decisions.
  • Own and manage the research process from end to end, including objectives, survey development, analysis, and reporting.
  • Ensure the quality of research is best in class and employs the most rigorous methods.
  • Communicate and present findings in written and oral form to partners, including peers and senior leaders.
  • Work closely with vendors, internal partners, and agencies to ensure timely and budget-compliant research execution.
  • Ensure compliance with Citibank principles, policies, and standards for all project engagements.

Requirements

  • 6-10 years of work experience in relevant fields.
  • 5-7 years of customer insights and research background, either with a research supplier or in-house at a corporation.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Strong project management experience and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent relationship management and communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in financial services or credit card industry.
  • Familiarity with both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
