About the position

The Market Sales Executive at Drury Hotels is responsible for driving revenue growth through sales activities related to the company's portfolio of hotels. This role combines national sales responsibilities with total account management, allowing for direct influence over hotel performance. The position requires a strong focus on client-facing sales activities, with opportunities for hybrid work and a commitment to personal and professional growth.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct sales activities related to selling guest rooms and meeting facilities across 150 hotels in 26 states.
  • Responsible for revenue growth from assigned accounts, including corporate and non-corporate opportunities.
  • Manage local B2B partnerships and sponsorships with guidance from the Manager, Revenue Strategy & Market Sales.
  • Maintain expert knowledge of market area demand generators and accounts for comprehensive account management.
  • Leverage customer interactions to explore opportunities across all hotels within the company.

Requirements

  • A high level of knowledge equivalent to a four-year college degree, preferably in sales and marketing.
  • 3-5 years of proven experience in outside sales and account management, specifically with regional or national B2B accounts.
  • Excellent business communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of sales techniques and ability to advance customers through the sales cycle.
  • Experience in hospitality or a related field is preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft365.
  • Experience presenting to audiences of various sizes.
