About the position

The position is focused on leading the market strategy and sales execution for Alkegen's Thermal Management (TEM) products globally. The incumbent will act as a market expert, managing a team to drive sales growth, develop market strategies, and ensure customer satisfaction while embodying Alkegen's values. This role requires a strong understanding of market dynamics and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Act as market expert for assigned market globally, understanding market dynamics and TEM product applications.
  • Develop and execute yearly sales budget for market team in support of TEM annual sales budget.
  • Manage the assigned market team's day-to-day tasks to create, prioritize, progress, and close opportunities.
  • Oversee routine sales activities including Business Planning, Forecasting, Reporting, Issue Resolution, and Account Assignment.
  • Engage with large key accounts and corporate/global customer decision makers.
  • Develop and continuously update global market strategy in conjunction with Global Growth Leader.
  • Lead daily execution of global strategy, playbooks, and action plans for assigned market team.
  • Drive market strategies including market mapping in emerging regions, in conjunction with Growth Leader.
  • Understand macro market trends and communicate effectively to TEM Management Team.
  • Provide direction and coaching to market/regional sales teams to drive individual growth initiatives.
  • Own market playbook identifying key applications, value propositions, and target growth customers.
  • Focus on current year execution (75%) and support next 2-5 year market strategies (25%).
  • Act as the voice of the customer within Alkegen and interface with R&D, Operations, Marketing, and Customer Service.

Requirements

  • 10-15 years of experience in Industrial Sales and Marketing, preferably with technical insulation/specialty fiber products.
  • Knowledge of all Thermal Management products and applications.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in managing a sales group and growing revenue.
  • Bachelor's degree required; Engineering or MBA preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Financial Statement Analysis, and Salesforce CRM.
