About the position

The Manager or Sr. Manager, Market Strategy at Vantage Data Centers will lead a team of market analysts to support market strategy and site selection efforts. This role involves continuous monitoring of market activity, customer intelligence, and competitor intelligence across existing and new markets. The position requires collaboration with various internal teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment with the overall Market Development vision, while also providing actionable insights based on comprehensive market analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of market analysts in support of market strategy and site selection efforts.
• Continuously review, track, and analyze market data across existing and planned geographies.
• Provide thought leadership on market sizing activities and develop clear recommendations for leadership.
• Collaborate with senior leaders to align department goals with the overall Market Development vision.
• Coordinate the work of the overall team to synthesize market information into actionable insights.
• Engage with internal and external partners to maintain a current perspective on all markets.
• Communicate market status, updates, and risks to partners and facilitate meetings to keep them informed.
• Develop recommendations for the land acquisition team and collaborate with GIS and Reporting functions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, Construction, Real Estate, Finance, or a related field.
• 8-12 years of proven experience in program management in a high-stakes environment.
• 2-3+ years of people management experience.
• Experience in the data center or site selection/real estate industry is highly preferred.
• Fluency with PowerPoint or Google Slides and basic analysis with Microsoft Excel.
• Strong project management skills and experience using project management tools.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a proven track record of leading multiple projects simultaneously.
