About the position

The Marketing Account Executive for Energy Efficiency Programs at Resource Innovations is responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing plans to engage utility clients and educate their customers about energy efficiency programs. This role involves managing client relationships, coordinating marketing campaigns, and supporting event planning and execution, all while ensuring alignment with client goals and effective communication across teams.

Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed campaign project plans, creative briefs, and digital strategies, including campaign goals and messaging.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Grow existing local professional groups and association relationships and identify new customer engagement opportunities.
  • Manage and build a master outreach event calendar for utility client outreach, including budget planning.
  • Manage and coordinate customer-facing slide deck presentation and webinar content and delivery.
  • Support event selection, planning, and reporting.
  • Utilize Salesforce account data to track outreach event efficacy and develop data-driven marketing plans.
  • Manage risk analysis by identifying potential roadblocks to budget, resources, and timelines.
  • Ensure each deliverable of the marketing plan aligns with client goals and is reportable.
  • Provide oversight and mentorship to associate marketing support members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Journalism or related field or equivalent experience required.
  • 3-5 years of professional marketing experience, preferably in the energy sector.
  • Previous experience managing clients and/or stakeholders.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Smartsheet, and proficiency in project management skills.
  • Ability to learn new tools and technologies quickly and use them proficiently.
  • Excellent written and oral communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Suite.

Nice-to-haves

  • Marketing/Sales experience preferred.
  • Previous energy efficiency or associated energy and technology related experience preferred.
