About the position

The West Coast Marketing & Admin Support Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting New Energy Works' sales and marketing efforts on the West Coast. This position involves assisting the sales team with various tasks such as research, organization, planning, and networking support, as well as contributing to marketing initiatives through event planning, communication projects, and presentation creation.

Responsibilities

  • Provide follow-up support for the sales team including sending collateral, drafting emails, and scheduling follow-up meetings/calls/zooms.
  • Arrange lunch and learns/presentations by calling partners, adjusting presentations, and scheduling food/leave behinds for meetings.
  • Research new architects, builders, or other partners for sales and marketing efforts.
  • Identify appropriate regional events, networking opportunities, and industry leaders for the sales team to approach/attend.
  • Update and maintain sales CRM (Hubspot) with accurate information, tasks, and deals.
  • Maintain communication and relationship with the East Coast sales team for information and idea sharing.
  • Monitor West Coast competitors and markets for marketing insights.
  • Research new ways to deliver company messages to West Coast audiences.
  • Ensure brand consistency between coasts.
  • Maintain inventory of West Coast marketing collateral and SWAG.
  • Assist with coordination and set-up of table-top exhibits and tradeshows.
  • Create and implement marketing events such as Tours, Open Houses, and PR Events.
  • Design and write office signage, site signage, partner letters, presentations, and follow-up emails.
  • Photograph and videograph for casual shoots and art direct professional shoots.
  • Assist the CEO with notes, executive presentations, projects, and industry partnerships.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years' work experience in sales, marketing coordination, project management for marketing/sales, or similar field.
  • Ability to travel as needed including weekly trips to McMinnville shop and 1-4 yearly trips to NY HQ.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a remote team.
  • Professional writing skills.
  • Phone skills with the ability to cold-call.
  • Demonstrated event coordination experience.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills; reliable with excellent follow-through.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to be flexible/responsive to rapidly changing projects.
  • Proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook, Hubspot, and Canva/InDesign.
