About the position

Golden Heights Healthcare in Daly City, California is seeking a Marketing/Admissions Director to manage the facilities inquiry and admission process while providing customers with community-related information through facility tours, personal visits, assessments, conversations, and follow-up. This role is crucial in ensuring that the admission process is smooth and welcoming for new residents and their families. The Marketing/Admissions Director will also implement effective sales and marketing programs to promote the facility within the community and to local hospitals. In this position, the Marketing/Admissions Director will assist in coordinating the admission of each new resident, ensuring that the resident's room is ready prior to their arrival. This includes communicating with all departments to prepare for the new admission and ensuring that the facility is tour-ready at all times. The Director will conduct facility tours, assist in the resident admission orientation program, and provide residents with an admission information packet. Additionally, the Director will review and explain facility room rates, billing procedures, visitor privileges, and resident care procedures to new residents and their families. Maintaining an accurate record of available beds and a resident waiting list is also a key responsibility of this role.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Two years of experience interacting with hospital-based clinicians (physicians, nurses, discharge planners, and social workers).
  • Two years' experience in an outside sales and marketing role, with demonstrated experience in making sales calls to healthcare professionals.
  • Possesses a valid driver's license and has access to a vehicle.
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict management skills.
