About the position

As a Marketing Ambassador at Jamul Casino, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service to guests and team members alike. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all guests feel welcomed and valued, assisting them with inquiries related to the property, loyalty programs, and current promotions. You will be expected to anticipate and address guest service needs proactively, working collaboratively with other departments as necessary to enhance the overall guest experience. This position requires you to execute various casino floor promotions effectively, issue player loyalty cards, and take accurate messages from guests. Listening to guest concerns and resolving issues in a timely manner is essential to maintaining a positive atmosphere within the casino. You will also need to adhere to all regulatory, departmental, and company policies while performing your duties in a safe and responsible manner. This role may involve performing other job-related tasks as assigned, ensuring that you meet the department's attendance, uniform, appearance, and grooming requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Provide friendly, fast, and helpful customer service to all guests and team members.
  • Assist guests with questions related to the property, loyalty programs, and current promotions.
  • Anticipate and address guest service needs.
  • Work in conjunction with other departments as needed.
  • Assist in executing all casino floor promotions.
  • Issue player loyalty cards.
  • Take and forward accurate messages from guests.
  • Listen to guest concerns and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Meet department attendance, uniform, appearance, and grooming requirements.
  • Adhere to regulatory, department, and company policies.
  • Perform all job duties in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Perform other job-related and compatible duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Availability for multiple shifts, including nights and weekends.
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and possess strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to operate computer software programs, printers, and other office equipment.
  • Ability to acquire and maintain an appropriate gaming license.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical operations and efficiently count money and gaming chips.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Microsoft Access, Excel, and Word.
