About the position

As a Marketing Analyst at 3M, you will play a crucial role in driving marketing activities for the Electrical Products segment, focusing on Trade markets. This position emphasizes enhancing brand value, executing marketing campaigns, and collaborating on new product introductions while ensuring compliance with industry standards. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze customer insights and optimize pricing strategies, ultimately contributing to sales targets and margin expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for various marketing activities for Electrical Products in Trade Segment
  • Enhance brand value in Trade segment
  • Manage new product introduction from A to Z
  • Develop retailer and wholesaler schemes for product promotion
  • Execute promotions in Trade/Industrial trade markets
  • Oversee DSR, promoters, and merchandising activities
  • Create demand at end user level
  • Conduct price optimization and analytics to ensure profitability
  • Gather and analyze customer insights
  • Execute and run marketing campaigns in Trade segment
  • Define and coordinate market/customer analysis and report findings
  • Implement marketing tactics around product, channel, pricing, and promotions
  • Lead activities of moderate scope and complexity in product information operations
  • Manage CRM operations to service end users and channel partners
  • Help achieve sales targets and margin expectations
  • Participate in corporate programs and comply with professional standards
  • Collaborate on new product development with cross-functional teams
  • Ensure compliance with industry and regulatory requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree with MBA in marketing from a reputed university preferred
  • Five years of experience in Trade markets / Industrial Trade
  • Strong knowledge of Customer Journey Map for Electricians, Electrical Engineers, Project Managers, and Electrical Contractors
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in a matrix organization
  • Willingness to travel 50% of the time
