About the position

The Marketing Analytics Co-Op at The Boston Beer Company is a hybrid position based in the Seaport District of Boston, MA, designed for students currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program. This role focuses on leveraging data to support marketing efforts, ensuring data integrity, and facilitating communication between the data engineering and marketing teams. The position runs from January to June 2025 and emphasizes hands-on training and professional development through the company's Early Talent Program.

Responsibilities

  • Leverage existing data connection platform to build new pipelines for marketing data
  • Audit, document, and cleanse new data using SQL for reporting
  • Display strong attention to detail in work
  • Build rapport with data engineering and marketing teams as a liaison
  • Work with data engineering team to ensure compliance with data infrastructure and ETL processes

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in Bachelor's degree program with an emphasis on Computer Science, Data Engineering or equivalent
  • Intermediate knowledge of SQL and data relationships
  • Valid Social Security Number needed by first day of employment
  • Ability to commute daily to Seaport Area in Boston, MA, and/or work remotely with wi-fi connection
  • Students 21+ years of age are preferred
  • Ability to communicate with remote stakeholders
  • Team player with a positive attitude
  • Responsive and accessible
  • Detail-oriented and follows up on commitments
  • Must not require sponsorship to work in the United States
