About the position

As a Marketing Analytics Vice President on the Omni-Channel Owned Media Analytics team, you will play a pivotal role in transforming our marketing strategy across owned media channels, particularly focusing on digital platforms such as our website, mobile app, and email. Your primary objective will be to enhance the customer experience through hyper-personalized, data-driven strategies. This position requires a deep understanding of our platforms, capabilities, data assets, and analytic tools to craft a visionary roadmap for the future of marketing analytics within the organization. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) for channel performance, effectively communicating your findings to senior leadership within the Consumer and Community Banking (CCB) sector. You will also build essential data capabilities, including marketing attribution and customer engagement valuation, while tracking cross-channel marketing interactions for each customer. A critical aspect of your work will involve establishing a comprehensive understanding of the push notification channel, comparing it with other channels to identify potential synergies and impacts on owned media channels. Your responsibilities will extend to reporting on campaign performance, prioritizing resources towards high-potential initiatives, and identifying areas for improvement in ad-level performance. You will deliver recommended optimizations to marketers and channel management, driving a more personalized communication strategy through enhanced targeting and streamlined customer journeys. Additionally, you will assess opportunities for audience sizing, revenue estimation, and customer experience improvements in collaboration with product analytics teams. You will also focus on enhancing the digital user experience by studying customer journeys on the mobile app, working closely with the mobile technology team to identify gaps in data capture strategies and collaboratively implement necessary enhancements. Collaboration with other teams will be essential as you craft test designs, interpret results, and translate findings into impactful presentations for senior management in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and track channel performance KPIs, communicating findings to senior CCB leadership to improve ‘Push Notification' strategy
  • Build business-critical data capabilities like marketing attribution, valuation of customer engagement, and tracking of cross-channel marketing touches for each customer
  • Establish an understanding of the push channel to compare to other channels and identify potential synergies/impacts on other owned media channels
  • Report performance of campaigns to prioritize resources towards high-potential initiatives
  • Identify areas of improvement in ad-level performance, delivering recommended optimizations to marketers and channel management
  • Drive a more personalized communication strategy enabled by development of better targeting and streamline customer journeys
  • Provide opportunity assessment (audience sizing, revenue estimation, customer experience improvements) in partnership with line of business/product analytics teams
  • Identify opportunities for a better digital user experience through studying customer journey on the mobile app
  • Work with the mobile technology team closely to identify gaps in the data capture strategy and collaboratively implement enhancements
  • Collaborate with other teams to craft test designs, interpret results, translate results into a program's impact to the company, prepare final documents, and present results to senior management in a fast-paced cadence

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and 3 years of experience in an advanced marketing analytics role
  • Strong SQL knowledge, including complex queries
  • Experience with relational databases and data prep to summarize large datasets
  • Capable of defining metrics, evaluating results, drawing conclusions and insights to design and recommend system or process improvements
  • Critical and analytical thinking with a data-oriented mindset
  • Experience with test experimental design and results analysis
  • Ability to develop advanced data visualization and presentations
  • Strong ability to translate data findings into business storytelling for leadership
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfort building and managing relationships with both analytics and business stakeholders

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree in related field
  • Advanced analytics experience, with preferred knowledge in one or more of these tools: Salesforce, Alteryx, Tableau, Python, Power BI
  • Experience with Push Marketing strategy
  • Functional industry experience in marketing, operations, technology or finance
