The Marketing Analytics Manager is a pivotal role that serves as a liaison between the centralized marketing analytics team and institutional marketing leaders. This position focuses on synthesizing complex data into actionable insights that drive marketing strategies and enrollment growth. The role emphasizes problem-solving, data storytelling, and collaboration with diverse stakeholders to influence business outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary analytics representative for institutional marketing, consolidating insights across functional teams.
  • Collaborate with analytics experts to identify root causes of performance gaps and opportunities.
  • Oversee the application of analytical models and lead advanced studies, including segmentation and marketing mix modeling.
  • Guide predictive modeling for enrollment projection and media effectiveness, integrating insights into business plans.
  • Translate complex data into concise narratives for institutional leaders, presenting regular updates on business metrics.
  • Ensure alignment across marketing and institutional teams by effectively communicating findings.
  • Partner with institutional marketers to streamline analytics requests and prioritize initiatives.
  • Act as a connector between institutional and centralized analytics teams to improve efficiency.
  • Drive continuous improvement within the analytics function by adopting best practices and innovative methodologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Marketing.
  • 8+ years of experience in consumer marketing research or related fields.
  • Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., SAS/SPSS) and quantitative research methods.
  • Strong knowledge of analytics, including regression models, segmentation, and forecasting.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead research projects from inception to completion.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in higher education is a plus!
  • Knowledge of tools such as R, Python, Tableau, Power BI, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, HubSpot, and Google Analytics.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
