As a Marketing and Admissions Director at a campus nursing center, you will play a pivotal role in achieving our business excellence goals. This position involves developing and implementing effective sales and marketing strategies aimed at optimizing total census, mix, and revenue within our nursing centers. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Regional Director of Business Development, Sales & Marketing, Regional Vice President, Population Health, and other key stakeholders to identify barriers affecting total census and census mix. You will be responsible for devising strategies to eliminate or minimize these barriers. Additionally, you will assess professional and community sales opportunities, allocate resources effectively across areas and nursing centers, and manage team sales plans to ensure success. You will also supervise the nursing center Admissions Staff through a dotted line relationship, working towards achieving targeted Quality-Mix (QMix) and Average Daily Census (ADC) goals. This position is crucial in ensuring that Genesis HealthCare continues to improve the lives of those we serve through high-quality healthcare and compassionate care delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to meet total census, mix, and revenue goals in nursing centers.
  • Partner with various stakeholders to identify census barriers and develop strategies to address them.
  • Assess professional and community sales opportunities and manage team sales plans.
  • Supervise nursing center Admissions Staff to achieve targeted Quality-Mix (QMix) and Average Daily Census (ADC) goals.

Requirements

  • Four-year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Nursing, or Health Care Management is required.
  • Three to five years' experience in the healthcare industry is required, with regional healthcare market experience preferred.
  • Multi-facility management experience or healthcare product or services sales experience is preferred.
  • Ability to adjust work schedule based on business needs and coverage requirements is required.
  • Must be flexible in scheduling priorities and able to travel as needed.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and provide own vehicle when traveling.
