The Holgate Center is seeking an energetic candidate for the position of Executive Vice President (EVP) of Marketing and Admissions. This role is crucial in serving our three levels of care: Independent Living, Resident Care Facility, and Skilled Nursing. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the insurance and billing needs associated with each level of care, coupled with a compassionate approach to the evolving needs and circumstances of residents seeking care and housing solutions within our community. The EVP will lead census development and occupancy management to achieve the financial goals of the Skilled Nursing Facility, Resident Care Facility, and HUD Apartments, while ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal standards and regulations, as well as established facility policies and procedures. In this role, the EVP will be responsible for planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the overall operation of the Admissions department and its programs and activities. This includes developing census goals while maintaining compliance with current laws and regulations. The EVP will evaluate and adjust admission practices based on occupancy targets and will engage with potential residents in various settings, including residential homes. A collaborative relationship between the business office and admissions office is essential, as both departments work towards shared goals for occupancy and collections. The EVP will also be tasked with creating and implementing a comprehensive sales strategy for both internal and external stakeholders, building strong relationships with referral partners such as hospitals, physicians, senior centers, and home health agencies. The position requires a commitment of no less than 40 hours per week on-site to assist with tours, admissions, transfers, and discharges. The EVP will develop community collaterals in conjunction with the Administrators and will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of available beds and processing referrals in a timely manner. This role is pivotal in ensuring that the admissions process is efficient, compliant, and aligned with the facility's goals for occupancy and customer service.
