About the position

The Marketing and Brand Manager for HBS Foundry at Harvard Business School is responsible for developing and executing brand and marketing strategies aimed at attracting users and driving engagement for an innovative digital learning platform. This role is crucial in enhancing the brand's visibility and ensuring alignment with the university's objectives, while also focusing on market research, partnership development, content creation, and comprehensive marketing campaigns.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and enhance the HBS Foundry brand, ensuring consistency in messaging and visual elements.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase brand awareness and recognition globally.
  • Maintain awareness of entrepreneur needs and gaps to ensure a clear customer value proposition.
  • Conduct market research to refine target customer personas and learner profiles.
  • Identify and develop strategic partnerships to expand HBS Foundry's reach and impact.
  • Coordinate with partners for joint marketing efforts and campaigns.
  • Develop graphic designs and content templates for marketing materials and the platform.
  • Produce marketing materials including promotional videos, blog posts, newsletters, and social media posts.
  • Plan, develop, and execute comprehensive marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance, providing insights for optimization.
  • Manage HBS Foundry's social media accounts and develop email marketing strategies.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent is required.
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, preferably in a digital or educational environment.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Experience in brand management and partnership development.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Mailchimp, Hootsuite).
  • Ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in graphic design.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
