About the position

The Marketing and Brand Strategy Director at Athena is responsible for managing comprehensive marketing strategies and overseeing 360 campaign management. This role requires a strong passion for problem-solving, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The director will collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders to develop and execute marketing strategies that enhance visibility and drive sales.

Responsibilities

  • Strategize and manage the execution of 360 Campaigns
  • Work with client stakeholders to develop overarching and specific marketing strategies to build visibility and drive sales
  • Facilitate leadership/stakeholder approvals of marketing strategy, content, and deliverables
  • Execute and analyze metrics for digital, social, and email campaigns
  • Understand the functionality of CRM and marketing tool systems to drive strong client solutions
  • Drive executive strategy sessions with client stakeholders
  • Create executive strategy presentations and campaign post-mortems
  • Oversee internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful marketing outcomes
  • Understand campaign metrics of success to drive strategic recommendations
  • Create integrated performance reporting on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis
  • Support audience identification for targeting purposes
  • Work with creative and editorial teams to deliver high-performance deliverables for clients
  • Track KPIs and ensure campaign performances align with client objectives

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Intelligence, or a similar field
  • 10+ years of professional marketing experience
  • Experience managing a team
  • Proven track record of building brand strategies
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Outstanding leadership and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in developing efficient strategies and tactics
  • Strong multi-tasking abilities
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • Experience using time tracking and expense management software
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Suite and project management software/tools
  • Previous experience in an agency or consulting firm is preferred
