About the position

The Marketing and Business Development Coordinator at T&G Constructors plays a crucial role in supporting the company's marketing and business development efforts. This entry-level position involves a variety of tasks aimed at enhancing T&G's visibility and engagement in the construction industry, including content creation for social media, market research, and event coordination. The coordinator will work closely with the Director of Business Development and Marketing to ensure effective communication and promotion of the company's services.

Responsibilities

• Edit and write communication materials, including internal and external newsletters, press releases, and social media content.
• Generate and manage content for the company's social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn).
• Conduct market research on regional and national competitors, clients, and industry trends.
• Represent T&G at industry events to network and promote the company.
• Source and create content for proposals and qualification packages.
• Assist in the production and assembly of project proposals.
• Maintain event registrations and manage the events calendar.
• Update and maintain multiple marketing databases.
• Plan and coordinate customer and employee events.
• Capture and curate photos from events and projects for social media and newsletters.
• Edit content on the corporate website.
• Research and order branded materials.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Marketing/BD team.

Requirements

• Recent graduate with a degree in marketing, public relations, or communications, or 1-2 years of experience in the construction/design industry.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
• Positive attitude with flexibility and a problem-solving mindset.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, multitasking environment.
