About the position

The Marketing and Business Development Manager at The Brattle Group will play a crucial role in enhancing the firm's market visibility and driving business growth within the Securities & Finance practices. This position involves collaborating with various stakeholders to develop and implement effective marketing strategies, while also serving as a mentor for emerging consulting leaders. The role requires a strategic approach to business development, client engagement, and thought leadership initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement marketing and business development strategies at individual, practice, and management group levels.
  • Coach and mentor next-generation consulting leaders, ensuring business development plans are scoped and implemented effectively.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to Corporate Services colleagues, connecting regional teams with broader Marketing support.
  • Conduct client and competitor research to identify new market opportunities.
  • Facilitate the development and promotion of thought leadership materials, including white papers and brochures.
  • Attend local networking events to elevate the Brattle brand and connect potential clients with consultants.
  • Develop digital initiatives to support go-to-market strategies, including video and interactive content.
  • Research and recommend memberships, sponsorships, and advertising opportunities to build brand awareness.
  • Serve as a liaison between consultants and the Marketing team, ensuring project alignment and progress.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Marketing, Public Relations, or Communications.
  • 8+ years of marketing experience, ideally in economic consulting, the legal industry, or professional services firms.
  • Experience with Securities & Finance practices is a strong plus.
  • Proficiency in Spanish is required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Working knowledge of customer relationship management databases such as InterAction, Salesforce, or Foundation.
  • Ability to exercise excellent judgment and maintain confidentiality.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks and demands with strategic planning and tactical implementation.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as needed.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in economic consulting or the legal industry.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools and strategies.
