About the position

The Marketing and Communication Manager for Graduate Admissions at Lipscomb University is responsible for overseeing communications to prospective student audiences. This role involves managing the admissions communications through the Slate CRM, developing and executing communication campaigns, and ensuring the delivery of effective marketing strategies to support enrollment goals. The position requires a blend of creative content development and analytical skills to optimize communication effectiveness and maintain adherence to branding guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee communications to prospective student audiences using engaging content in written and visual formats.
  • Act as the primary Slate admissions communications administrator, managing day-to-day operations and configurations.
  • Support the graduate admissions team in delivering comprehensive communication plans through Slate.
  • Process communication campaigns in support of Enrollment Management strategy, including text communications.
  • Develop, test, and manage new email templates ensuring responsiveness and mobile-friendliness.
  • Ensure quality assurance by maintaining accuracy and integrity of audience populations and communication flows.
  • Develop queries for target audiences and verify data accuracy before sending communications.
  • Create reports and measure analytics; conduct A/B tests to monitor and optimize message effectiveness.
  • Maintain awareness of email best practices, including compatibility and deliverability standards.
  • Create and execute long-term plans for the CRM function within the department related to prospect communications.
  • Provide data and statistics for analysis and evaluation of enrollment management systems.
  • Develop reports and dashboards to evaluate enrollment marketing and admissions strategies.
  • Stay current on Lipscomb University Branding Guidelines and apply them to admissions communications.
  • Maximize CRM functionality by utilizing features such as forms and dynamic content.
  • Develop training assets and lead training sessions for admission counselors and school liaisons.
  • Consult with school liaisons on event management within the Slate system.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 3-5 years of directly related full-time experience in marketing or communications.
  • Experience using admissions CRM technology, specifically Slate.
  • Experience creating and editing content.
