About The Position

The Marketing and Communication Manager is responsible for creating, directing, and overseeing campus marketing and communication content and strategies. This role involves evaluating the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, managing the daily operations of the marketing department, and utilizing writing and graphic design skills to produce marketing materials that promote campus events and initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Four (4) years of experience in management and supervision, graphic design, and writing, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Knowledge of state bid laws, procedures, and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Conceptualizes, creates, coordinates, produces, and manages comprehensive marketing initiatives for all campus divisions.
  • Manages the daily operations of the campus marketing department, including supervision of staff and project management.
  • Identifies campus recruitment, marketing, and promotional needs and implements strategic directions consistent with the College brand identity.
  • Collaborates with the collegewide strategic communication director and manages media coverage for the campus.
  • Plans, coordinates, and administers campus advertising to reach target markets through various media.
  • Manages communication and marketing support for campus special events and off-campus recruitment initiatives.
  • Serves on campus and collegewide committees as assigned.
  • Coordinates photography for campus events and activities for marketing initiatives.
  • Conceptualizes, designs, and coordinates the development of various communication and marketing materials.
  • Manages campus-specific social media content on College platforms.
  • Interviews and drafts stories and profiles for various publications.
  • Trains, supervises, and evaluates subordinate personnel.
