About the position

The Marketing and Communication Manager at River Edge Behavioral Health is responsible for coordinating marketing and communications efforts across various channels to enhance the organization's brand and raise awareness of its programs and services. This role operates independently and reports to a C-level Executive, contributing directly to the mission of providing state-of-the-art treatment and support for individuals with mental health and developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate marketing and communications efforts for the organization and its affiliates.
• Develop and execute an integrated communication strategy to enhance REBH's brand.
• Create and publish press releases on social media platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, X, TikTok, and YouTube.
• Design printed materials such as flyers, brochures, event programs, banners, newsletters, and annual reports.
• Manage ad placements and oversee social media campaigns.
• Maintain and manage the River Edge website.
• Develop an annual communications and marketing plan to boost brand visibility.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and interact with department heads, staff, and stakeholders.
• Write and edit press releases, articles, media statements, and related materials.
• Manage the department budget and expenses for communications and marketing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, graphic design, public relations, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in communication and marketing responsibilities.
• Experience with desktop publishing software such as Canva, MS Publisher, and Adobe InDesign.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in photography and video production.
• Proficiency in HTML for email communications.
• Familiarity with behavioral health services trends.
