About the position

The City of Roseville is seeking a Marketing and Communications Analyst I/II to join its award-winning Public Affairs and Communications team. This role focuses on creating engaging content to inform and connect with both internal and external audiences. The analyst will be responsible for developing digital news stories, social media posts, newsletters, and other communications for various city initiatives, working collaboratively with a diverse team of professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Develop digital news stories and social media posts to engage the community.
  • Create newsletters and other communications for various city initiatives.
  • Collaborate with graphic designers, video producers, and government relations teams.
  • Craft compelling content to inform internal and external audiences.
  • Support the Public Affairs and Communications team in various projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in marketing, communications, graphic design, public relations, advertising, business administration, journalism, public administration, or a related field.
  • For Analyst II: Two years of responsible experience in a similar role.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in digital content creation and social media management.
  • Familiarity with graphic design tools and video production.
