About The Position

The Marketing and Communications Analyst at Delaware State University is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies and communication plans that align with the Consortium's mission. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing or communications, preferably in higher education or online learning.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing, including email campaigns, SEO, and social media advertising.
  • Strong writing and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences.
  • Strategic thinking and attention to detail.
  • Analytical mindset to interpret data and drive decision-making.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement data-driven marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, student engagement, and enrollment.
  • Coordinate multi-channel marketing campaigns, including email, social media, web, and print.
  • Monitor campaign progress and adjust strategies to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Create compelling and targeted content for newsletters, website updates, press releases, and social media posts.
  • Ensure all communications align with the Consortium's branding guidelines and values.
  • Conduct research to identify target audiences, market trends, and competitive positioning.
  • Analyze marketing campaign performance metrics and generate actionable insights to improve effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with partner institutions and internal stakeholders to ensure cohesive messaging.
  • Manage communications with prospective students, partners, and other key audiences.
  • Support the planning and promotion of virtual and in-person events, ensuring effective communication strategies are in place.
