About the position

St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Parish in Akron, OH is seeking a part-time Marketing and Communications Coordinator to promote parish life by establishing a consistent brand identity for all parish marketing and communications. The Marketing and Communications Coordinator will be responsible for managing the structure and content of the parish website, ensuring that it is up-to-date and reflective of the parish's mission and activities. Additionally, the coordinator will oversee the management and content creation for the parish's social media platforms, including Facebook and FlockNote, to engage with the community and promote parish events and initiatives. The role also includes managing livestream software to broadcast daily, weekend, Holy Day, and special Masses, with training provided for the necessary technical skills. Furthermore, the coordinator will create marketing materials for the parish newsletter and website, contributing to the overall communication strategy of the parish. This position is designed to be dynamic, with the expectation that the individual will take on new projects and responsibilities as they arise, adapting to the evolving needs of the parish community.
