About the position

Carolina Caring is seeking a skilled Marketing and Communications Coordinator to join our award-winning team. The successful candidate will work closely with the Marketing and Communications team to manage and execute both internal and external communication strategies across the organization and our service area. This role is vital in strengthening and expanding our presence through impactful marketing initiatives that resonate with our community and stakeholders. As a Marketing and Communications Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing and implementing communication plans that align with our organizational goals. You will collaborate with various departments to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all platforms. Your efforts will contribute to enhancing our reputation and visibility in the healthcare and social services sectors. This position requires a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for outreach and engagement, as well as the ability to analyze and report on the effectiveness of communication strategies. In addition to managing communication efforts, you will also assist in organizing events and campaigns that promote our services and mission. Your creativity and strategic thinking will be essential in crafting compelling content for various channels, including social media, newsletters, and press releases. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related field, preferably in healthcare or social services.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in public relations is a plus.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms.
