The American Forest Foundation (AFF) is dedicated to unlocking the potential of family forests as a solution to climate change while assisting landowners in managing their land and enhancing forest health. Through its Family Forest Carbon Program, AFF aims to broaden access to the voluntary carbon market for family forest owners, producing high-quality forest carbon credits that help companies achieve their net-zero goals. The organization is strategically focused on enabling family forests to capture and store one billion tonnes of carbon by 2050. This mission is supported by a coalition of conservation partners, corporations, and policymakers, providing family forest owners with the necessary financial and technical support to implement sustainable forest management practices. The Marketing and Communications Coordinator plays a vital role in addressing global climate change and other conservation challenges. This position is responsible for providing administrative and programmatic support for AFF's communications strategy, particularly in digital communications and owned media. Reporting directly to the Senior Marketing and Communications Manager, the Coordinator collaborates with a team of marketing and communications professionals, program staff, partners, landowners, and consultants. The ideal candidate will exhibit creativity, focus, and adaptability, demonstrating a passion for conservation and an interest in market-based strategies while thriving in a diverse, fast-paced, and mission-driven environment.
