About the position

The Marketing and Communications Coordinator at the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) is an entry-level role designed for individuals passionate about marketing. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of marketing, including digital marketing, content creation, and brand management. The coordinator will work closely with the marketing team to support integrated marketing efforts and contribute to the organization's mission of empowering real estate management professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting with integrated marketing and communications, digital marketing, lead generation, and brand and content projects.
  • Designing digital images, content, and presentations for marketing projects, toolkits, and campaigns.
  • Assisting with writing, reviewing, and editing copy for emails, newsletters, etc., including administering layout, testing, and sending.
  • Coordinating ordering and maintaining IREM branded promotional items and online swag store.
  • Assisting with the creation of marketing toolkit materials.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Willingness to learn and contribute to the team.
  • Knowledge of graphic design software programs such as Adobe Creative Suite and Canva.
  • Familiarity with an email platform system such as Hubspot or Rasa AI.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and stay on top of deadlines.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Canva and graphic design software.
  • Familiarity with email marketing platforms.
