About the position

As the Marketing and Communications Director at Camp Rainbow Gold, you will lead the strategy and execution of all marketing, branding, and communications initiatives. This role is essential in building awareness, engaging donors, and driving community impact through creative messaging, while ensuring cohesive communication across both Camp Rainbow Gold and Hidden Paradise brands.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a unified marketing and PR strategy that advances CRG's goals and engages target audiences.
• Oversee the marketing budget and manage vendor partnerships and communications contracts.
• Hire, train, and lead the marketing team to maintain brand standards and messaging consistency.
• Design a PR strategy to strengthen media relationships and build CRG's visibility.
• Implement communication initiatives that recruit families and inspire donor and community support.
• Lead content creation for all platforms, ensuring consistent messaging across digital, print, and campaign materials.
• Oversee the production of visual assets and manage design projects to maintain brand consistency.
• Drive CRG's digital presence, optimizing website content and managing SEO.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, public relations, graphic design, business, or a related field.
• 5-7+ years of experience in strategic marketing, communications, or public relations, preferably in a nonprofit setting.
• Expertise in marketing strategy, team leadership, and brand development.
• Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) and digital marketing tools.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong project management abilities, including budget oversight and vendor management.
