About the position

The Marketing and Communications Manager (CMM) is responsible for maintaining and promoting ICESAHT's brand through engaging social, digital, and traditional media programs. The role involves coordinating with various stakeholders to enhance the visibility of ICESAHT's services and ensure effective communication with service partners and survivors.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for overall brand cohesion across all communication channels and strategies for promoting our brand into the community
  • Create marketing and communication plans for all ICESAHT trainings, events, and conferences
  • Ensure ICESAHT activities are well-publicized internally and externally and targeted to our service partners using multiple communication platforms, tools, and methods
  • Design and implement audience-targeted, public awareness campaigns across multiple communication platforms
  • Create engaging social media graphics, videos, and other content
  • Identify marketing trends, industry pulse, and key opportunities for innovation and prepare relevant market research
  • Design, procure, and manage ICESAHT's promotional items that help raise sexual assault services awareness
  • Develop and maintain the necessary systems, processes, and tools to better support the facilitation, collection, and sharing of knowledge that is generated by the programs
  • Ensure that key project outcomes and/or policy and advocacy are evaluated and leveraged for maximum community, organizational, and state impact
  • Gather feedback from participants, organize it, and create reports for staff and contributors
  • Work collaboratively with the ICESAHT Program Team to integrate and develop cross-program activities and functions
  • Maintain and analyze program statistics and prepare regular reports for funders, grantors, leadership, and the Board of Directors

Requirements

  • A degree or relevant experience in digital marketing, digital communications, public relations, business, or another related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in comprehensive marketing, communications, and/or organizing educational events
  • Excellent written communication and editing skills
  • Social media and digital communications tools skills and knowledge at an intermediate level (e.g., Constant Contact/Mail Chimp, Adobe Creative Suite, Survey Monkey, etc.)
  • The ability to create and maintain robust working relationships with various types of stakeholders and constituents
  • The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • An independent work ethic
  • Strong analytical skills and business acumen
  • A survivor-centered, trauma-informed, and culturally sensitive approach

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with instructional design and training methodologies
  • Charisma, passion, and the ability to communicate clearly and facilitate groups of any size, virtually or in-person
  • Very organized and high attention to detail
  • Able to work in a collaborative, team-based environment and meet deadlines
  • Solid judgment and leadership skills
