We are seeking a Marketing and Communications Manager to join our incredible team at O'Dea High School, an all-boys Catholic high school. This position leads and manages our marketing, branding, and communication efforts and works in conjunction with all departments to ensure timely, effective, strategic and professional communication. This position plays a critical role in enhancing our image, enrollment management, fundraising, and a strong community connection. The successful candidate will develop and implement comprehensive marketing and communication strategies aligned with O'Dea's mission and goals, conduct market research to identify opportunities and challenges, and create and implement annual marketing and communications plans. The Marketing and Communications Manager will also be responsible for creating content for communication materials, serving as the gatekeeper for all publications to confirm brand identity is maintained, and collaborating with faculty, staff, and students to generate compelling stories and content that highlight the school's strengths and achievements. This role includes overseeing and producing high-quality content for various platforms including the website, semi-annual community magazine, admissions and fundraising materials, and other print materials. Additionally, the manager will coordinate and manage photography of school events and daily activities for use in publications and digital media, and direct and manage vendors, consultants, and contractors for marketing and communications purposes. Event promotion and enrollment management are also key responsibilities, where the manager will coordinate marketing efforts for school events, ensure effective promotion and coverage of events to maximize attendance and engagement, and work closely with the Admissions Office to develop and implement strategies to attract and retain students. The role requires analyzing enrollment trends and data to inform related marketing and communication efforts. Digital marketing management is another critical aspect of this position, where the manager will develop and execute digital marketing plans and campaigns for social media, email marketing, videos, and website management. The effectiveness of digital marketing efforts will be analyzed and reported on, using insights to optimize future campaigns. The manager will serve as the website content editor, providing the vision for web communication and design, and manage subscribers to e-publications to ensure appropriate community engagement. Finally, the manager will oversee the school merchandise program within the budget to ensure the community has the opportunity to purchase logo wear that reflects O'Dea, and carry out other responsibilities as assigned.
