About the position

GAMA-1 Technologies is seeking a part-time junior Marketing and Communications Specialist to join our team. This role is ideal for a creative and organized individual who excels in developing engaging marketing materials and managing digital content. The position offers the flexibility of remote work and requires a commitment of not to exceed 60 hours per month. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing our marketing efforts and ensuring that our communications effectively convey our services and achievements to our target audiences. In this position, you will be responsible for identifying and characterizing target Federal markets and developing marketing campaigns that resonate with these audiences. You will also be tasked with developing and revising key messaging in accordance with the evolving strategic planning of GAMA-1. This includes designing and developing brochures, presentations, and other marketing collateral that effectively communicate our services and achievements. Additionally, you will provide graphics support by designing graphics for marketing materials, presentations, proposals, and social media, ensuring brand consistency across all platforms. Social media management will also be a key responsibility, where you will manage and schedule posts, develop graphics, and create written content that aligns with our marketing strategy. Furthermore, you will collaborate with the Marketing and Communications Business Lead and the internal Quality Manager to develop and update marketing and communication processes that align with ISO certifications and quality management standards.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and characterize target Federal markets and develop marketing campaigns
  • Develop and revise key messaging in accordance with evolving GAMA-1 strategic planning
  • Design and develop brochures, presentations, and other marketing collateral to effectively communicate our services and achievements
  • Design graphics for marketing materials, presentations, proposals, and social media, maintaining brand consistency
  • Manage and schedule social media posts, including developing graphics and written content that aligns with our marketing strategy
  • Collaborate with the Marketing and Communications Business Lead and internal Quality Manager to develop and update marketing and communication processes that align with ISO certifications and quality management standards

Requirements

  • Proven experience in marketing and communications, preferably in the technology or government contracting sectors
  • Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, PhotoShop) and content management systems
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to create clear and engaging content
  • Experience with social media management and digital marketing strategies
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Knowledge of marketing automation tools like AI tools
