Exciting Opportunity: Marketing & Communications Specialist Join the HomeOwnershipCenter, a dynamic nonprofit organization dedicated to revitalizing and growing neighborhoods across Oneida, Herkimer, Madison, Otsego, Fulton, and Montgomery Counties since 1979. In this role, you'll be the voice of the HomeOwnershipCenter and our Lead-Free and Healthy Homes Mohawk Valley (LFHHMV) initiative, crafting compelling narratives that resonate with our community. As a Marketing & Communications Specialist, you will be responsible for designing eye-catching marketing materials and digital content, managing and growing our social media presence, and developing innovative communication strategies. You will represent our organization at events and networking functions, analyze marketing data to refine our outreach strategies, and collaborate with a diverse team of professionals. This position offers a unique opportunity to amplify our message and drive our mission forward, making a meaningful impact in the communities we serve. We offer a 4-day work week (Monday-Thursday) with 3-day weekends every week, a competitive salary, and a generous benefits package. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or graphic design or an associate's degree with 2+ years of experience
  • Exceptional creative skills and a keen eye for design
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office
  • Experience with WordPress and CRM systems (preferred)
  • A passion for community development and social impact
