About the position

The Marketing and Community Engagement Coordinator is responsible for creating and executing specialized marketing initiatives while providing essential administrative and customer service support. This role involves attending events to promote Dawn Mountain's offerings and utilizing event content to enhance the organization's marketing strategy across various platforms. The position is ideal for a flexible and creative individual with a keen attention to detail and a passion for community engagement.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage engaging content for social media to increase online presence and audience engagement.
• Develop compelling email campaigns and newsletters, monitor audience engagement, and expand mailing lists.
• Collaborate on filming and editing audio and video content, with occasional local travel for projects.
• Host and moderate Zoom meetings on a regular basis.
• Track and report analytics related to membership, newsletter engagement, and program attendance.
• Provide general administrative assistance, including errands requiring local travel.
• Be present for special events, setup, and takedown.
• Cook lunch for monthly First Sunday free lunch, including shopping for ingredients.

Requirements

• Strong administrative and organizational skills.
• Proven experience in marketing, particularly in social media strategy and campaign evaluation.
• Portfolio showcasing design and copywriting excellence for social media.
• Experience in video/sound recording and editing, as well as proficiency with Zoom.
• Customer service experience in a community-focused environment.
• Reliable transportation.
