About the position

The Marketing and Community Outreach Coordinator plays a vital role in enhancing the visibility of the law firm, fostering community relationships, and supporting marketing initiatives to engage and attract potential clients. This position requires a blend of creativity, strategic thinking, and excellent communication skills to effectively represent the firm's brand and values.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain partnerships with local organizations, businesses, and community leaders to increase brand visibility and foster goodwill.
  • Plan and coordinate community events, workshops, and informational sessions that align with the firm's goals and legal practice areas.
  • Represent the firm at networking events, community gatherings, and professional associations to build brand awareness and establish connections.
  • Assist in the development and execution of social media strategies across platforms, including content creation, scheduling, and audience engagement.
  • Write and design engaging newsletters, blog posts, and client updates to keep the community informed and build trust.
  • Manage the firm's website and ensure content is current, relevant, and optimized for SEO.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and leadership to plan and implement marketing campaigns that align with the firm's objectives and target client demographics.
  • Track and analyze marketing campaign performance, using insights to make data-driven recommendations for improvements.
  • Assist in the development of promotional materials, brochures, and other collateral to support outreach and advertising efforts.
  • Prepare press releases, media statements, and other PR materials to promote the firm's news, achievements, and community contributions.
  • Maintain relationships with local media outlets and seek opportunities for media coverage.
  • Monitor media mentions and brand reputation to ensure consistent messaging and handle any public inquiries.
  • Serve as an additional point of contact for prospective clients and provide preliminary information about the firm's services.
  • Coordinate feedback surveys and community feedback sessions to understand client needs and improve the client experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in marketing, outreach, or community relations, preferably within a professional services setting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with digital marketing tools, including social media platforms, content management systems, and analytics software.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of legal industry marketing or experience in a law firm setting.
  • Graphic design skills and familiarity with design software such as Adobe Creative Suite or Canva.
