About the position

The Marketing and Community Relations Manager will play a pivotal role in representing Seniors Helping Seniors® services within the community, with a focus on driving business growth and enhancing community engagement. This position is essential for establishing and nurturing relationships with various stakeholders in the senior care industry, including hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, and assisted living facilities. The manager will be responsible for identifying, developing, and maintaining referral sources that can contribute to the organization's mission of providing quality senior care services. In this role, the Community Relations Manager will actively participate in community events and networking opportunities to raise awareness about the Seniors Helping Seniors mission and values. This includes performing prospect visits to healthcare facilities to educate them about the services offered and how they can benefit their patients. The manager will also be tasked with keeping abreast of industry trends to identify new opportunities for collaboration and growth. The position requires a proactive approach to building a network of prospective referral sources and partnerships, as well as the ability to prepare and deliver presentations using marketing materials provided by Seniors Helping Seniors. Engaging with prospects and families to discuss their needs and the options available through Seniors Helping Seniors will be a key aspect of the role, along with fielding referral calls and exploring opportunities that arise.

Responsibilities

  • Build a network and pipeline of prospective referral sources and partnerships for Seniors Helping Seniors.
  • Perform prospect visits to physician offices, hospitals, assisted living, and skilled nursing facilities to educate and inform on Seniors Helping Seniors's services.
  • Attend community networking events to create additional business relationships for Seniors Helping Seniors.
  • Keep abreast of trends in the industry and identify new opportunities for Seniors Helping Seniors.
  • Prepare presentations using Seniors Helping Seniors marketing materials.
  • Represent Seniors Helping Seniors at industry and community events.
  • Talk with prospects and families about their needs and discuss options that Seniors Helping Seniors offers.
  • Field referral calls and discuss opportunities that are brought to Seniors Helping Seniors.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of Sales, Marketing, and/or Recruiting experience.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Intuitive, good listener, strong communicator, solution-oriented, and driven.
  • Interested in learning, with an eye toward personal improvement.
  • Detail-oriented, flexible, self-motivated, and a team player.
  • Professionalism when working with remote families and caregivers in a structured environment.
  • Process-oriented, results-driven, and able to learn and utilize Internet-based client management software (WellSky).
  • Senior Care Industry experience is a plus, but not required.
